Manifold is a series of travelling exhibitions and programs spotlighting the diverse and international contributions of black female artists. Showcasing a range of mediums such as painting, sculpture, print, photography, and design, Manifold highlights the multifaceted nature of diaspora culture. Inspired by Lubaina Himid's 1980 exhibition series, these showcases provide a platform for experimentation and celebration of talent within the community. The first iteration of Manifold took place in a storefront in Soho. This comprehensive exhibition occupied over two floors and was designed as a site for discovery, with multiple video works, a cosy library area, and a variety of artworks. A zine was also published on the occasion in complement to the exhibition.
