Chinaza Agbor, (b. 1998) born in Texas to Nigerian immigrant parents, has often struggled with her dual identities, having faced ridicule for embracing her Nigerian heritage and grappling with the complex and bloody history of the American South. Her work explores Black female identity, motivated by the journey from low self-esteem to self-love.
