Nigerian-American artist Chioma Ebinama (b. 1988, New Jersey, US) draws from an array of visual and cultural references, employing myth and cosmology as a guide for examining her inner life. Her practice is centred around her preferred medium of watercolour on paper which she acknowledges as both a meditative act and a tool for self-liberation.
Chioma Ebinama lives and works in Athens, Greece. She is currently working on her first manuscript for a children’s book set to be published in 2024 by Penguin Random House.
